I have not done this for any other reason other than for the fact that I have seen my mum sit at the computer with an absolute passion for everyone on here and it makes me so proud to see all of the nice comments that have been written about her and emailed to her personally. There are a lot of bad things going on in the world and in my personal opinion it makes a change that someone can put a bit of positivity into what is a very hard time for everyone on this website. My mum has been through so much and has looked after me and my brother and sister, not to mention her husband (who has health problems of his own) throughout her illness. I have asked her to reconsider and even suggested that I talk to the moderators about her reinstatement to the site. However it would appear that the moderators have an obvious lack feeling and sense when it comes down to what frankly is a very hard subject. I run a company involved in websites, web forums and data protection etc... and I would be interested to know what the legal implications of Dr JAF surmising on what a persons potential problems may be and recommending that further consultation be taken from a more qualified Dr. If the moderators would like to get back to me on this I would be happy to talk, but as I see it my mum is actually helping people which surely is the whole point of the website and forum. Mr D P Frazier.

Re: As a side point

I am very sorry that someone who is a giving and decent human being should be treated in this way.

As far as I am concerned, this leaves a dirty taste in my mouth because I have quickly discovered (diagnosed with BC May 9th 2009) that in some areas of the NHS and its associates, there is a lack of comprehension of what it is to treat the patient with kindess and dignity, and also that we are intelligent human being and not idiots to be dominated .

I will be writing in to complain about this. Over the last few weeks I have looked all around the site and I simply cannot agree that Goldenbird has either been irresponsible or used offensive language.

This is England now. Censorship and domination by the unknown.

Other than checking in to see what happens over Goldenbird, I will not be using this site in future. IF this is the best that a massive charity such as Cancer Research can do, then it doesn't say a lot for its powers of comprehension or just plain common sense.

From here on in I will use other resources (such as MacMillan, also the virtually uncensored US websites).

Can Cer REsearch UK : Nil points.
